So in this Nioh walkthrough, we will guide you through the entire mission so that you can make your way to the boss easily and will help you on how to defeat the Ishida Mitsunari boss at the end of the A Defiled Holy Mountain mission.

A Defiled Holy Mountain

As the mission starts head straight to find a shrine in the area. Enter the cave and defeat the enemy to your left. From here go left and take out the group of foes here. Continue down the tunnel and stay to your left to make your way outside. You will find more enemies here, take them out and go left around the boulder to come to an area with a shadow realm.

It will reveal a Yokai, so defeat it and go left to defeat the Dweller. From here go right and stay on your right to find an enemy that will ambush you. Defeat it and head up the ramp where you will encounter a Ninja, defeat it and continue on and enter a cave, on the right drop the ladder to unlock a shortcut for later.

Keep following the path ahead and it will lead you to the right and you will find a shrine. From the shrine, head left and up the path and you will find an enemy to your left. Defeat it and keep going until you reach a torch, from the torch take a right into the tunnel and drop or take the ladder down, and ahead you will find an Owl enemy ahead.

Take the path up which will take you to a clearing where some enemies will be waiting for you. Defeat them and head back inside the mountain. To the right, you will find another ladder you can kick to drop and open up a shortcut that will come in handy for later.

Keep going along this path and stay right at the junction and go up the dark path to find a Yoki. Kill it and cross over the narrow stone bridge and head left around the bend and stay along the ledge but beware of the bats flying out of the cave on the left. Keep going down this path and at the end take the left, defeat the enemy and take the path around to another stone bridge.

Drop down from here and head outside where you will face a Raven Tengu. Go up the mountain ledge to the left and at the top take a sharp right of the triangular boulder and then take the path up to the bamboo forest. Defeat the enemy ahead and take the path through the forest and take a left and around to the right. Take the leap ahead and leap to a lower ledge towards a house.

Open the door and enter the house then open the next door and head outside where you will find a Hot Spring. Exit the house and head right and take the path to a log bridge that connects to a small hut. Kill the enemy outside and exit the hut and continue down the path.

Enter the cave ahead to reveal a shadow realm Onyudo. Defeat it and make your way outside and go left around the boulder. Kill the enemy ahead and proceed to the left into an open doorway into the mountain where you will find a shrine.

Exit through the doorway and go left up the long steps. At the top head right into the house and defeat the warrior here.Open the double doors and step through and then open the next set of double doors and face Ishida Mitsunari.

Ishida Mitsunari Boss Tips

Ishida Mitsunari is tough boss in Nioh so you will need some strategy to take it out. Ishida Mitsunari uses elemental projectiles and sword attacks. As the wind elemental projectiles can’t be blocked you will have to dodge them. Once it attacks with the sword, dodge behind him and land a couple of strikes then back off and keep repeating it.

Medium stance with a spear is recommended for Ishida Mitsunari. Use the strong attacks against him as they will land easily on him and will quickly deplete his KI. When he is depleted of his key just keep hitting him for as long as you have KI, because in this period he won’t be able to fight you.

Sometimes he will drop on the floor where you can deal some extra damage through the finisher. If you have your living weapon powered up, save it for when Ishida Mitsunari has 25% of health remaining to finish him off. Repeat the steps and you will defeat him and will proceed ahead with the story.

So that is all for Nioh A Defiled Holy Mountain Walkthrough with tips about how to defeat the Ishida Mitsunari Boss.

Nioh Walkthrough – The Source of Evil

The Source of Evil mission in Nioh is a very straightforward one if you know what you are doing and to defeat the Gasha-Dokuro Boss is very easily but for that you are required to have a Soul-Soothing Comb. This Nioh walkthrough will guide you through the mission and help you find the Soul-Soothing Comb and will guide you about how to defeat the Gasha-Dokuro.

The Source of Evil

The Source of Evil mission begins with a cutscene the shows the unveiling of Gasha-Dokuro. As The Source of Evil mission begins, go to your immediate right to find a shrine. You will find Skeleton Warrior force in this area, so take it out and head to the left to find Tenkai by a structure. Talk to the Tenkai and he will give you a Soul-Soothing Comb.

Go up the ramp and drop down ahead. In this area, there will be several red circular shadow realm areas that will spawn deadly foes similar to Revenants as you get near them. So keep that in mind while you progress ahead.

Head straight to find a corpse just through the opening in the wall and then take a right and then towards the left and make your way towards the large structures while taking out enemies in your way. Head to the structure on the right and head right across the field to face the Gasha-Dokuro.

You will find a series of red crystals clusters ringing in the area. Interact with the first red crystal cluster to drive a spike through it to neutralize it. Head from this cluster across the battlefield towards a structure ahead.

However, there will be a lot of Yokai in the way so it would be better if you just run past them. Head right of the house and to your right there will be a small tower with a fallen log nearby. Get on the log and onto the path to find a shrine on your right. Now go back the way you came and head straight into the pit to face the Gasha-Dokuro boss.

Gasha-Dokuro Boss Tips

Compared to other bosses in Nioh, Gasha-Dokuro is a pretty easy boss if you know what to do and when. Before heading into the pit interact with all 3 red crystals around the boss area. The Soul-Soothing Comb will turn the crystals orange and will reveal the glowing spots that will recharge your living weapon. This will help you a lot in defeating the Gasha-Dokuro.

Hand and feet are the weak spots for Gasha-Dokuro, and destroying each weak spot will make him rest his head on the mountain. Once he does, run up the hill quickly and attack his head. Repeat this 3-4 times and you will be able to easily defeat him. If you are having trouble dealing some serious damage then unleash your living weapon to deal some extra damage.

When you stand in the glowing spots your living-weapon recharges over time but for these glowing spots to appear you need to interact with the 3 crystal clusters mentioned above. Gasha-Dokuro is also weak to wind attacks so using the wind-based weapon will be the best idea.

And that’s it for the Nioh The Source Of Evil walkthrough with tips on how to defeat the Gasha-Dokuro Boss easily.

Nioh Walkthrough – Sekigahara, Otani Yoshitsugu Boss Tips, Shima Sakon Boss Tips

Nioh Sekigahara walkthrough will guide you through the entire mission and will help you on how to defeat the Otani Yoshitsugu and Shima Sakon boss battles.

Sekigahara mission in Nioh is a fairly simple and a short one, however, you will have to face two bosses in this mission. While these bosses are themselves quite easy compared to other but don’t be too confident as one little slip and Otani Yoshitsugu and Shima Sakon will bring the pain with their attacks.

For more help on Nioh, read out our Bosses Guide, Character Builds Guide, and Amrita Farming Guide.

Nioh Walkthrough – Sekigahara

Our Nioh walthrough will guide you through this mission and will you guide about how to defeat the Otani Yoshitsugu and Shima Sakon boss fights.

Sekigahara Mission

The Sekigahara mission In Nioh begins with a powerful story cutscene and when the mission starts, go straight ahead towards the first shrine. From the shrine go left and keep following the path and you will find a corpse along the way. Continue down the path and keep to your right, down the path you will find a soldier. Defeat the soldier and continue onward.

Take your first left along the path and you will find two more Warriors by the scaffolding. Defeat them and continue on and cross the plank bridge to get to the other side where you will find another warrior. Take it out and head left and then take a sharp right around the fencing.

You will come to a series of cloth walls and be careful of the enemies as they will ambush you. You will make a left through the opening and a cutscene will trigger and after that, you will face Otani Yoshitsugu.

Otani Yoshitsugu Boss Tips

Otani Yoshitsugu is a fairly easy boss to defeat and most of his attacks are either weak or too easy to dodge. The only time Otani Yoshitsugu gets dangerous or more aggressive is when his sword turns blue, as he can one-hit kill you with powerful projectiles in this state.

In this state, you will have to deplete Otani Yoshitsugu’s Ki by attacking him so that he would return to his normal state. While facing him in his aggressive state it would be best to keep a low stance so you can dodge him better.

For the rest of the fight, you can either use the low stance or the medium stance and spear works best against Otani Yoshitsugu so try and use it. Try to get behind him and land a few attacks before backing off, and when he is stunned use this opportunity to deal a great deal of damage.

It is to be noted that you can’t use grapples/finishers on Otani Yoshitsugu. Repeat these steps and you will have little trouble defeating him.

Once you have defeated him a cutscene will play, once it is done, exit the arena and follow the bannerman left and then head down the path to the far right. Loot the corpse that you will find along the way and further ahead you will find a ladder, kick it down to open up a shortcut. Now backtrack your steps and take the sharp right to go the next path down and cross the bridge to the left to enter the fray.

Either you can kill the enemies and explore the areas or just move ahead across the battlefield, however, watch out for flaming arrows and the enemies in the area as there will be a lot of them. Keep progressing straight and you will come across a stream.

Follow the stream to the left and then take the path to the left around the enemy lines. Keep heading straight and you will find a ramp heading into a circular arena. Drop into this arena and a cutscene will trigger and you will face the Shima Sakon.

Shima Sakon Boss Tips

Shima Sakon is the final test of Nioh’s Sekigahara mission. Shima Sakon uses a spear and he performs the leg sweep move quite often so be careful of it. Either dodge him or keep your distance from Shima Sakon and wait for his attack to miss.

Once he misses, attack him and then back off. Press Square, Square, Square, Triangle and keep doing it until you are out of KI. You can spam Shima Sakon with this combo, as if he is hit by one of your strikes then he can’t block himself and you can just keep hitting him.

Also, make sure you are using the “Pole Kick” skill otherwise he will be able to defend himself. After dealing a significant amount of damage, he will activate his living weapon. When he does, do not try to block him instead just dodge him and attack him to deplete his KI.

After you dodge when Shima Sakon attacks get behind him and land 1-2 strikes until he gets stunned and you can again spam him with Pole Kick skill again. Repeat these steps and you will be able to defeat him in no time.

That is it for Nioh Sekigahara Walkthrough with tips on how to dodge and defeat the Shima Sakon and Otani Yoshitsugu boss fights.

For Honor Berserker Guide – Best Combos, Moves, Hero Counters, Abilities, Best Feats, Combo Chains

For Honor Berserker Guide to help you learn everything you need to know about playing as Berserker, playing against Berserker, and tips to win.

Berserker in For Honor primarily relies on close-quarter combat and increased mobility. This guide basically teaches you how to play to Berserker’s strengths and how to be successful even in bad match-ups.

For more help on For Honor, read out our Peacekeeper Guide, Best Characters Guide, and Beginner’s Guide.

For Honor Berserker Guide

In our For Honor Berserker Guide, we’ve detailed everything you need to know about playing as Berserker and playing against Berserker.

For Honor – Blocking as Berserker

Blocking as Berserker is a tad advanced as compared to other classes.

The rule of simply pointing the right analogue stick in the direction of an incoming (up, left, right) does not apply to the Berserker. As mentioned earlier, blocking as Berserker is a little complicated.

In order to execute a successful block, you need to press the right analogue stick after moving it in the direction of an incoming attack.

It’s important that you do it before the attack connects. You should’ve ample time to do so properly.

For Honor – Deflecting as Berserker

Deflecting is easily one of the Berserker’s many strengths and is pretty simple to execute.

When executed at a proper time, deflecting as Berserker allows you to successfully carry out a Guard Break followed by one or several attacks; preferably light attack. As mentioned earlier, deflecting as Berserker is fairly simple.

In order to do so, dodge in the direction of an incoming attack – before it actually connects – and immediately press the Guard Break button.

For Honor – Depleting Opponent’s Stamina as Berserker

Another powerful tool at Berserker’s disposal is the ability to drain his opponent’s stamina using the Forward Throw.

During the course of a skirmish, you need to keep a close eye out on your opponent’s stamina meter and as soon as you see it dropping low, head in with a forward throw to drain it completely and leave him/her at a major disadvantage.

There are multiple ways of punishing your opponents for having no stamina e.g. uninterrupted Guard Break, chain attacks, etc.

For Honor – Berserker Movement Tips

Thanks to your enhanced mobility, you’re at the liberty to simply dodge away instead of blocking.

There are a couple of benefits of doing so. Firstly, if you manage to time your dodge in the direction of an incoming attack properly, you’ll deflect the attack leading to a Guard Break or multiple follow-up attacks.

However, even if you don’t pull off a well-timed dodge, you should easily be able to force your opponent into whiffing their attacks.

On the other hand, if you’re about to whiff an attack, note that you can always cancel your attack by dodging to any side. In order to pull off a successful attack cancellation, simply press the dodge button and you should be good to go.

Finally, in case you’re bested in a duel, don’t simply run back and try to execute a backward Zone Attack.

It’s a pretty simple attack which can be executed by pressing Light Attack + Heavy Attack + Down. It does, however, cost a lot of stamina so don’t try to spam it. If you manage to pull it off while getting chased down, you should be able to get away without any trouble.

For Honor – Best Berserker Ability

It goes without saying that the Dance of the Paired Blades is the best tool available at Berserker’s disposal.

This ability basically allows Berserker to launch a seemingly endless mix of attacks until the stamina lasts. On top of it, every fifth attack becomes uninterruptible and costs less stamina.

Only if it does not deal a whole lot of damage, it should definitely force your opponents into blocking, dodging, or even running away.

It’s a pretty good ability and should be mastered by anyone who wishes to main Berserker. It is, however, important to note that the Dance of the Paired Blades cannot begin with a Top Heavy Attack and immediately ends if you go with Top Heavy Attack.

For Honor – Playing Against Berserker

One of the first things you need to know about Berserker is that the class does not boast a decent range.

Due to this, the class tends to struggle against heroes with long reach poke. You need to take advantage of this and try to remain at a safe distance to lessen any advantage that Berserker players can have over you.

It’s also important to note that every fifth attack of the Dance of the Paired Blades is uninterruptable so don’t try to block.

Since you cannot interrupt every fifth attack from the Dance of the Paired Blades, you either need to dodge away or simply move to another location. Do so and you should be good to go.

Another weakness of Berserker is the inability to quickly recover after being blocked.

Keeping this in mind, you should always try and block a Light Attack from Berserk which should allow you to follow-up with a successful Guard Break and dish out a massive amount of damage before backing off.

Due to this, if you know your opponent is good at blocking light attacks; tread carefully!

For Honor Berserker Moves

Dance of the Blades
It’s executed by Light Attack into Heavy Attack or Heavy Attack into Light Attack. Every fifth attack is uninterruptable.

Bear Mauler
It’s executed by Heavy Attack – Heavy Attack – Heavy Attack.

Boar Rush
It’s executed by Heavy Attack while sprinting.

Head Slicer
It’s executed by Forward + Dodge into Light Attack.

Spin Chop

Head Crusher
It’s executed by Forward + Dodge into Heavy Attack. It’s an uninterruptable attack.

Slashing Rush
It’s executed by Back + Light Attack + Heavy Attack. It’s an uninterruptable attack.

This is all we’ve on our For Honor Berserker Guide. Don’t forget to share your own tips and strategies with us in the comments section below!
